Fells Point, MD Real Estate
Established in 1763, Fell’s Point is a Historic District and has over 300 of its buildings listed on the National Register, including the oldest standing residence in Baltimore City, the Robert Long House. As one of the oldest neighborhoods in Baltimore, Fell’s Point was formerly a busy shipbuilding area and is also noteworthy for being the home to jazz singer Billie Holiday and abolitionist Frederick Douglass.
Fells Point today has remained largely unchanged since its founding from its Belgian block streets to waterfront restaurants and cozy boutiques all just a few blocks east of the Inner Harbor. Main Street is now home to over 100 small businesses where one can dine, shop, stay and play.
